Today marks the beginning of the blog tour for my poetry debut, Murmurations, with Love Books Tours. I’m excited to get to share my work with a wider audience and to engage in conversation with other book and poetry lovers. The tour kicks off with a 4 star review from Charlotte (@bluefairybugsbooks on Instagram), who describes the collection as “Beautiful, poignant, thought-provoking and evocative.” My Poem: I go to the sea resonated with her in particular, as like me, Charlotte’s happy place is the sea. I’ve also already received another lovely 4 star review from Ashley (@heyashleyyreads), who got a little ahead of herself and posted a month early – I appreciate the enthusiasm. 😉 Ashley describes my book as walking through the woods and talking to nature as if to an old friend, which I found very fitting. After all, that sort of feels like what I do a lot of the time when I’m working on my poetry.
