Homophones: a wordplay comic #1

Ta-da! Here is my brand new and badly drawn comic based on the concept of homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings (it should all become apparent pretty quickly if you read the comic). I have endeavoured to make a bit of a guessing game out of it, so you will see the second image first without a the “solution” word and then with (though I will no doubt deviate from this format here and there). The jokes are pretty lame, though I myself find them hilarious. The drawings are mostly terrible and sometimes OK. It’s oddly freeing for my perfectionist mind to not care too much about that, though. And I’m strangely proud of it. Please feel very free to share and repost as long as you give credit. And also feel free to give me your thoughts (if you have suggestions for homophones please send a PM so as not to spoil the surprise). You can also find these (and more) on my IG @sarahcominghome. I’ll be posting more of these over the next weeks.

Oh and because I’m old school I hand draw these then scan them. Honestly I have never taken to digital drawing and I find drawing by hand soothing.
